EXISTING USE
229 Chapel Street and 24 Macquarie Street’s existing use is an effective mix of unique co-working office space operated by Revolver Lane and a night club / restaurant operated by Revolver Upstairs.
Co-working has exploded onto the global scene in recent years offering small to medium size tenants a genuine, more flexible alternative when compared to traditional commercial leases. Melbourne has a blend of global and local co-working operators spread across the CBD and fringe locations. Revolver Lane currently houses over 150 tenants across 25 private offices and a 30 desk open plan work space and prides itself on being Melbourne’s most unique co-working operator.
Revolver Upstairs operates as Colonel Tan’s restaurant during the evening and by night is home to one of Melbourne’s most famous nightclubs. The venue regularly hosts live music and is one of the last remaining night club venues which enjoys the benefit of a 24-hour liquor licence.
